Is facial contraindicated for broken bones?

When we have a client with the following condition:

Treatments cannot be performed over contraindicated areas. Pay attention to your client's mobility. Be aware if your client take medications, as it may interfere or affect the treatment.

  • Deformity of an arm or leg
  • Pain in the injured area that gets worse when the area is moved or pressure is applie
  • Loss of function in the injured area
  • In compound fractures, bone protruding from the skin

The three most common signs of a broken bone (also known as a fracture) are:

  • Pain
  • Swelling
  • Deformity

However, it can sometimes be difficult to tell whether a bone is broken if it isn’t displaced.
