Chemicals like toluene and formaldehyde must be avoided as they can cause harm on coming in direct contact with client skin. If you want to be on the safe side, use chemical-free products and make sure you paint clients nails in a very well ventilated room. Nail polish remover - It is OK if client use it occasionally. Gel nails and Shellac nail polish: While no specific pregnancy-related risks have been observed due to its application, there has been a report on increased risk of skin cancer due to the UV exposure. In addition, the removal needs acetone for 20 minutes. (Even acetone can make some pregnant women feel sick).

Signs and symptoms for

  • Tender, swollen breast
  • Nausea with or without vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Mood swings
